5 Things You Need to Know about HALO Laser Treatment

Conveniently located to serve San Antonio, Eagle Pass and the surrounding area.

Once you learn about HALO laser skin treatment, it’s easy to see why we’re so excited to offer this option to our Eterna Cosmetic Surgery patients. Here are just five things we know will get you thinking about what this different type laser treatment might do for you.

1. Only Laser of Its Kind

HALO is a profractional laser, which means the device targets just a fraction of the skin within the treatment area. This makes the treatment more comfortable and speeds healing. But there are other profractional lasers. What makes HALO unique is its hybrid design that enables us to treat surface and sub-surface skin simultaneously.

It’s not unusual for patients to need more than one type of skin treatment – ablative to smooth and renew the surface, non-ablative to address deeper issues such as pigmentation problems or scarring. We can adjust both aspects of the HALO laser to deliver precisely tailored treatment for each individual.

2. Good for All Skin Types and Colors

This is a big deal here in San Antonio, because so many of our patients have medium or darker complexion. How many times have you read or heard about some new skin renewal treatment only to discover it won’t work for you? Disappointing and frustrating, we know. Say hello to HALO!

Traditional lasers do not work well and can present an elevated risk of skin damage to those with darker skin, making their benefits inaccessible to a large part of our population. Since HALO is safe and effective for everyone, we are able to treat a wider range of skin imperfections for all our patients.

3. Good for All Ages

Not every skin imperfection is the result of aging. Sun exposure starts to take a toll early on, and acne leaves its marks starting in your teens. HALO is a great option for all age adults and all genders, because we can use it to correct:

  • Sun damage
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Acne scarring
  • Discoloration (red or brown spots)
  • Pigmented lesions
  • Enlarged pores
  • Uneven skin tone and texture

You’re never too young or too old to look in the mirror and see smoother, healthier, more refreshed and radiant skin!

4. Whoever Said “No Pain, No Gain” Never Met HALOh2>

You don’t have to suffer through painful or even uncomfortable treatment sessions or lengthy downtime to get great results. Really great results. HALO is virtually painless – patients tell us it feels warm and maybe a bit tingly — to ensure maximum comfort we apply a topical anesthetic prior to treatment.

5. Results Last for Years

Not only does HALO produce truly impressive results, the improvement can last for years. At first, you will experience some redness or swelling for a couple of days, then surface skin will peel another couple of days. Then your new skin will be revealed – and it will continue to improve over the following weeks and months.

While many patients require just one HALO treatment to achieve desired results, in some cases we may recommend a second or third treatment to produce even more impressive results.

Could HALO be the skin rejuvenation treatment you’ve been waiting for? Everyone wants to look their best, at any age, but every individual has different skin and concerns. Schedule a personal consultation, and let’s talk about your goals and how we can help you achieve the look you want.
