Cosmetic technology is rapidly innovating new, transformative solutions for patients. AccuTite is a non-surgical procedure that uses radiofrequency to contract the skin, stimulate the production of collagen, contour the skin, and reduce unwanted fat. Dr. Hernandez is pleased to offer AccuTite treatment to Eterna Cosmetic Surgery patients in San Antonio.
What areas can be treated with AccuTite?
Dr. Hernandez skillfully uses AccuTite to create dramatic results on the following areas:
AccuTite treatment can be used to lift your eyebrows and create a more youthful appearance. This procedure is called a non-surgical brow lift.
When performed on the upper and lower eyelids, AccuTite is also referred to as a non-surgical blepharoplasty, or a non-surgical eyelid lift.
AccuTite treatment can reduce the appearance of nasolabial folds (also known as smile lines).
AccuTite can make you look years younger by treating your lower face, more specifically, improving jowls and defining your jawline.
AccuTite can help firm loose skin on your neck.
Excess skin or fat around the armpits, also referred to as axillary puff, can be effectively treated using AccuTite.
Hyperhidrosis of the Axillae
The powerful combination of AccuTite and Morpheus8 offers permanent, life-changing results for those suffering from hyperhidrosis of the underarms.
If you’re avoiding tank tops due to loose skin on your upper arms, AccuTite can help restore your confidence.
AccuTite is a popular hand rejuvenation treatment to stimulate collagen and tighten the skin to reduce the “aged” look that can affect our hands.
If you’ve achieved a healthy weight but still wish for more abdominal muscle definition, Dr. Hernandez uses AccuTite to perform abdominal etching to create the “six-pack” appearance with incredible results!
Many women struggle with their inner thighs. AccuTite can help restore more youthful contours and tighten skin in the area.
If you’re frustrated with saggy knees that give you an older appearance, AccuTite can restore a more youthful look.
AccuTite can restore a more youthful appearance to your labia. This is also referred to as a scarless labiaplasty.
Dr. Hernandez can artfully showcase your calf muscles and firm your skin using AccuTite.
What are the benefits of AccuTite?
AccuTite is an excellent option for patients who wish to avoid surgical procedures. Patients also avoid long recoveries, prolonged bruising and swelling, and the unwanted side-effects of general anesthesia. Although it is not quite as powerful as formal surgery, it is an exceptional middle option with transformative results.
Combined with Dr. Hernandez’s exceptional skill and artful hand, the small size of the AccuTite handpiece allows her to deliver powerful radiofrequency energy underneath the skin with extreme precision and accuracy.
What happens during AccuTite?
During an AccuTite treatment in the Eterna Cosmetic Surgery office in San Antonio, Dr. Hernandez will use a local anesthetic to numb the skin on the area to be treated. She will then insert the thin AccuTite wand through a small needle puncture in the skin that was used previously for application of the anesthetic. In most cases, treatment is completed in less than an hour.
Depending on your specific needs, you may elect to receive Pro-Nox treatment during AccuTite treatment. Pro-Nox is a patient-controlled inhaled analgesia that takes effect in seconds. It can provide you with immediate relief of any pain and anxiety while the anesthetic is applied (this is the only uncomfortable part of the procedure). Similar to “laughing gas” at the dentist, the effects wear off quickly, and you will be able to drive yourself home. If you choose a stronger anti-anxiety medication, you will need someone to drive you home.
How can I get even better results?
Those patients looking for even more transformative results can choose AccuTite treatment combined with Morpheus8 and platelet rich plasma (PRP). These additional procedures are performed directly after your AccuTite treatment to maximize your results and time.
If your goals include significant lifting of the face and neck, AccuTite is often combined with a Suture Suspension BrowLift, Suture Suspension FaceLift and/or Suture Suspension Necklift for augmented results. During your initial consultation, Dr. Hernandez will conduct a thorough examination and discuss your specific goals to help you determine which treatments will help you reach those goals.
What happens after AccuTite?
As your skin produces more collagen and elastin in response to your AccuTite treatment, you will notice some results during the first 2 to 3 weeks after treatment. Many patients report that their results continued to improve for up to 3 to 6 months after treatment.
Dr. Hernandez recommends you rest for at least 24 hours after AccuTite treatment. The small needle punctures used during treatment will be covered with small dressings. You should keep the treated area(s) clean and dry to prevent infection.
Minor amounts of swelling and bruising are normal for 1 to 2 weeks after your treatment. You may also notice small scabs over the small punctures created for treatment. While most patients do not require pain medication, some choose to take Tylenol (over the counter) for 1 to 2 days after AccuTite treatment.
