Rediscover Pleasure With Skin diVA Laser Vaginal Therapy

Every woman wants to look and feel her sensual best, especially during her most intimate moments. Aren’t you glad you live in a time when women can take action to restore their vaginal health and reverse the unwanted effects of childbirth and menopause? Skin laser vaginal therapy is a minimally invasive, office-based treatment that takes little time and requires minimal recovery without downtime.

At Eterna Cosmetic Surgery, we offer diVa Laser Vaginal Therapy — a non-hormonal and non-surgical laser resurfacing procedure that is quick, safe, and effective in improving vaginal health for women who want to feel like their younger, more sensual selves.

What Is diVa treatment?

diVa is different because it uses the world’s only Hybrid Fractional Laser (HFL) technology to deliver two laser therapies at once for a combined effect. The first deeply resurfaces the layers of the vaginal wall, revealing brand new, healthy tissue. The second laser heats the layers of the tissue where collagen exists.

Unlike other laser therapies that only penetrate the top layer of tissue, the heat generated by the HFL technology penetrates through multiple layers of the vaginal tissue to stimulate healthier tissue, increase collagen, and improve tissue density, and elasticity. diVa is the only treatment that helps improve lubrication and vaginal mucosa tissue while also improving mild to moderate vaginal laxity.

Benefits of diVa Laser Treatment

diVa laser vaginal therapy can help relieve multiple concerns including:

  • Vaginal laxity (when the vaginal tissue is overstretched)
  • Vaginal atrophy (vaginal dryness, burning, itching and/or excess discharge or decreased vaginal lubrication during sexual activity)
  • Painful sex or loss of sexual sensation due to thinning of the vaginal tissue
  • Symptoms of urinary stress incontinence

After diVa Laser Vaginal Therapy, vaginal tissue becomes noticeably healthier, pinker, and more like the tissue of a young woman. Many women tell us they feel 20 years younger, more confident, and sexier than ever following this treatment, and report that their sexual relationships with their partners also dramatically improve.

Who Is a Good diVa Laser Vaginal Therapy Candidate?

Any woman who experiences challenges as a result of their changing body and decline in vaginal health is a good candidate for diVa Laser Vaginal Therapy. Those changes can result from childbirth that stretches the vaginal canal and surrounding tissue or from loss of estrogen due to menopause, breastfeeding, certain breast cancer treatments, or a hysterectomy with removal of the ovaries.

What Happens During diVa Laser Vaginal Therapy?

First, Dr. Elizabeth Hernandez consults with each patient and performs an examination. Then, one of our laser-certified aestheticians inserts the laser tip and treatment begins. It takes just 3 to 5 minutes.

Unlike other vaginal lasers that require manual manipulation, diVa is fully automated. The laser remains stationary in the vagina, ensuring consistent precision in treating the vaginal tissue. diVa is also unique in using a disposable, protective barrier sheath over the laser probe, which ensures utmost hygiene and eliminates any chance of cross-contamination.

The diVa laser probe is designed to provide a comfortable experience throughout. diVa Laser Vaginal Therapy requires three treatments (each session takes just 3 to 5 minutes), scheduled 4 to 6 weeks apart.

What Happens After diVa Laser Treatment?

Most women return to their normal daily activities following their treatment with no discharge, spotting, or discomfort. Some patients may experience a slight pressure against the vaginal wall during the diVa treatment, and some patients may experience increased sensitivity near the vaginal opening afterward. Dr Hernandez recommends that patients avoid sexual intercourse for 48 hours.

diVa Laser Vaginal Therapy requires three treatments about 4 to 6 weeks apart to achieve optimal results and satisfaction. Results are long-lasting, however, we recommend an annual maintenance treatment to ensure the ongoing health of the restored vaginal tissue.

How Much Does diVa Laser Vaginal Therapy Cost?

The cost of diVa Laser Vaginal Therapy can vary depending on individual needs and the treatment plan tailored for you. Typically, the price ranges from $1,500 to $3,000 per session. This investment in your sexual wellness can lead to significant improvements in comfort, confidence, and intimacy.

During your consultation, Dr. Hernandez will discuss your specific goals and provide a detailed breakdown of the costs involved, including any recommended follow-up sessions for optimal results. With the potential for long-lasting benefits, diVa Laser Vaginal Therapy can be a valuable addition to your health and wellness journey.

Get Even More Personalized Results

Healthier and rejuvenated vaginal tissue can make you feel more like your younger, sensual self. While diVa restores sensitivity and healthy function within the vaginal canal, other treatments can produce visible and confidence-boosting changes externally. For example, Aviva and Morpheus8 are very effective in firming vulvar skin, and labiaplasty reduces the length of the labia minora. All of these treatments can be combined depending on each patient’s issues and goals.
