Six Months or More Before: Breast Augmentation
With the addition of a saline or silicone implant, breast augmentation adds a natural-looking fullness to better fill out your wedding dress. Enhancing both the breasts’ size and shape, breast enhancement creates and flatters your bridal silhouette.
As with any surgical procedure, breast augmentation should be performed sooner rather than later. Over the months leading up to your wedding, your implants will continue to appear more natural as they drop and settle into place.
Three Months Before: Liposuction
Some pockets of stubborn fat can resist any pre-wedding diet. Liposuction effectively removes hard-to-target fat cells to slim and contour your bridal physique. Slip into your wedding dress without the worry of troublesome areas including the face, arms, stomach, love handles, hips, and thighs.
Using the latest technology, Dr. Hernandez is able to perform liposuction through a small incision. While liposuction is a gentle procedure, it generally takes one to three months for all of the swelling to dissipate and for the final contour to be obvious.
One Month Before: Injectable Treatments
Non-surgical injectable treatments are a last minute favorite for many of our San Antonio brides! And it is not just the brides that love injectables—Dr. Hernandez often treats the entire wedding party, including the groom, mother of the bride, groomsman, and bridesmaids. Botox® and Dysport® keep you looking worry free by relaxing wrinkles on the forehead, between the eyebrows, and around the eyes. Dermal fillers, such as Juvéderm® Ultra, Ultra Plus, and Voluma®, as well as Restylane® and Restylane Lyft, can enhance your appearance by adding volume to sunken cheeks, smoothing lines and wrinkles, and plumping thin lips.
Before such a big event, Dr. Hernandez recommends that patients get any injectable treatment at least one month ahead—especially for those new to injectables. If you respond favorably, you can always get a touch up closer to your wedding day.
