What Is BBL HERO?

BBL HERO is a non-invasive technology that does not require the skin to be ablated or vaporized to achieve desired results. It is not a single device, but an entire system that gives Dr. Hernandez multiple ways to customize treatment for patients, addressing multiple issues simultaneously, as needed. Though it is sometimes called photofacial, we can perform this treatment on almost all parts of the body. Most commonly, though, we use BBL on the face, neck, chest, and hands.  

The advanced technology promotes renewed collagen production. In fact, a Stanford University study showed that BBL treatments are able to produce a more vibrant, youthful appearance because light energy changes the structure of the genes associated with aging make-up and alters the molecular structure of the skin cells.

BBL works in the epidermis and also deeper dermis to correct pigmentation problems such as freckles, sun damage, and age spots to improve skin elasticity and produce a smoother, more uniform tone and texture. Patients often see noticeable results after just one session, however, most patients need 3 to 6 treatments spaced about 2 to 4 weeks apart to achieve desired results.
