Warmer weather means you’ll be wearing more revealing clothing. This is no time to be showing off thighs with crepey. No matter your gender, you want your legs to look appropriately toned and shapely in shorts and swimwear. If aging, weight loss or too much sun over the years has left you with a look you don’t love, thigh contouring with Morpheus8 radiofrequency microneedling may be all you need to achieve smoother, firmer skin on your thighs.

Perhaps you’ve been putting off doing something about your thighs, thinking your only option is surgery. That might be the best choice for you if you have severe excess skin folds and desire a  tight, lifted look. However, for many of our patients here at Eterna Cosmetic Surgery, a body contouring treatment with Morpheus8 can produce great improvement with far less discomfort and cost.

Thigh Contouring with Morpheus8 radiofrequency microneedling

Morpheus8 is a unique, two-part treatment that diminishes excess fat and resurfaces the skin. It is only minimally-invasive, so you won’t have lengthy scars as you would from surgery. Nor will you have a lengthy recovery. Morpheus combines microneedling with fractional radiofrequency energy, allowing Dr. Elizabeth Hernandez to custom-tailor treatment to each patient’s skin and desired outcome.

The Morpheus8 device uses more tiny surgical needles than regular microneedling, and they can penetrate deeper if needed. This stimulates greater healing response from the body, producing renewed collagen and elastin required to create healthy skin cells. The radiofrequency energy produces a gentle heat that melts (or morphs) sub-surface fat. This allows Dr. Hernandez to strategically contour the thighs to achieve attractive overall shape as well as a smooth, firm skin surface.

Whether you are concerned about flabbiness on your inner thighs, bulges and/or loose skin on your outer thighs, or you want to see all-around improvement, thigh contouring with Morpheus8 can produce results that are very natural-looking. No one will even know you had a little help getting your legs into shape – unless, of course, you tell them yourself.

Add Plasma for Even Greater Results

Many of our patients choose to add platelet-rich plasma treatment to their Morpheus8 thigh contouring procedure. Platelets are the element in human blood that transport growth factors around the body. Anywhere there is a wound (such as tiny microneedling punctures), growth factors get to work right away to heal the area. It is the healing process that produces healthy, fresh skin cells.

Adding Plasma to Morpheus8 treatment can accelerate healing and enhance results. Plasma is entirely safe, as it is derived from a small sample of each patient’s own blood.

But What about Cellulite?

For women, in particular, cellulite is another big frustration when it comes to thighs. Cellulite is not related to how much fat you have, and you certainly don’t want those dimples or wavy areas to undermine the visual improvement you expect to achieve with thigh contouring. Fortunately, depending on the type of cellulite you have on your thighs, Dr. Hernandez may recommend Cellfina treatment at the same time. Cellfina is the only treatment that can actually eliminate cellulite, and it works in just one session.

Show Off Those Legs!

It’s time to take a closer look at your legs. If you want to see slimmer, firmer shapeliness and uniformly smooth skin, a personal consultation with Dr. Hernandez is a step in the right direction. She can answer your questions about thigh contouring, show you before and after pictures so you can get a realistic idea about possible results, and plan a tailored treatment to restore a more youthful appearance just in time for shorts and swimwear.
